When you are considering getting a Cocker Spaniel or already have one there are many things concerning them like their health. Not all Cocker Spaniels have all of these health problems or even some of them.  The heritedtary ailments can cause your dog a lot of pain and discomfort, and if treatable they can cost you a lot of money.  That is why where ever you get your Cocker Spaniel, make sure he or she gets checked for these problems before buying, adopting or most importantly, breeding so any disorders do not get passed to future generations of Cockers.  If your dog is showing any symptoms or signs of disease, please contact your veterinarian.
